While his latest King of the Cage light-heavyweight title defense was not his most difficult, champion Trevor “South African Hammer” Prangley continues to rack up wins and stave off talks of retirement. Looking back on his Nov. 13 title bout against Richard Blake, Prangley told MMAWeekly.com, “He was a replacement, and it wasn’t a super-tough fight by any means. I don’t know how else to put it.” The win caps off a year that, while not his busiest, Prangley felt was needed in the grand scheme of things.
