The Spike TV-televised event took place at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., and it featured two tournament finals. However, among casual or longtime MMA fans, the most interesting matchup may have been the main-card opener, in which veteran welterweight Karo Parisyan  (24-10 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) pounded out fellow UFC vet Phil Baroni  (15-18 MMA, 0-1 BMMA). In the headliner, Andrey Koreshkov  (17-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) used a well-balanced attack, including some slick spinning back kicks, to earn the decision win over Adam McDonough  (11-1 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) in a welterweight tournament final
