Andrey Koreshkov dominated the welterweight tournament final at Bellator 122, winning a unanimous decision over Adam McDonough at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif. on Friday. In the evening’s featured bout, Koreshkov battered away at McDonough for the entirety of the 15-minute affair, earning a judges’ decision with scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 30-27. Koreshkov pursued his opponent for most of the opening round, landing a series of looping punches as McDonough backpedaled. McDonough shot in for takedowns, but was unable to secure the fight to the ground. Koreshkov landed a spinning back kick to McDonough’s face in the second round, and he continued battering away with a mixture of strikes throughout.
