The 24-year-old has been able to move from remote northern Brazil to the United States. When Guerreiro (20-3 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) faces John Teixeira (17-1-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) tonight at Bellator 136 at Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif., he does so with the goal of improving his family’s position even more after nearly a year lost in the shuffle of Bellator MMA’s changing ownership. “By the time I face John Teixeira, I’ll be in America for an entire year,” Guerreiro told MMAjunkie. “I feel very happy to give a better quality of life to my wife and son.
