Filed under: Bellator , Featured Videos , News , Videos HOUSTON – UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie was unflappable despite a controversial ending in his trilogy fight with Ken Shamrock , first laughing off and then denying an illegal knee that brought an end to the Bellator 149 headliner. Gracie joked about an apparent knee to Shamrock’s groin at the post-fight presser, declaring, “I’m very happy – that was my first knockout,” at the Toyota Center that hosted Friday’s Spike-televised event in Houston. Then he curiously claimed a strike to Shamrock’s groin, missed by referee Jacob Montalvo, didn’t actually land in a sensitive spot – despite video evidence to the contrary.
