Saad Awad was desperate to get back in the cage after an injured hand put him out of action since this past summer. He’ll get his wish – but against a bigger man – when he faces Evangelista Santos at Saturday’s Bellator 154. Awad (18-7 MMA, 6-4 BMMA), normally a lightweight, is stepping up to the welterweight division to face Santos (21-6 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) on the Spike-televised main card from SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
