Former middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko ’s Bellator homecoming was a victorious one. After forcing to fight overseas due to a failed drug test and lengthy fight with the California State Athletic Commission, Shlemenko (54-9 MMA, 12-3 BMMA) was in fine form during a hard-fought TKO win over vet Kendall Grove (23-16 MMA, 4-3 BMMA). The bout headlined today’s Bellator 162 event, which took place at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn. The main card aired on Spike following prelims on MMAjunkie.
