For about two minutes, it looked as though Darrion Caldwell and Leandro Higo were in for a long night. Then Caldwell (12-1 MMA, 9-1 BMMA) exploded across the cage, wrapped Higo’s (18-4 MMA, 1-2 BMMA) neck, and secured a submission for his first title defense. The bantamweight title bout was the main event of today’s Bellator 195 show at Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla. It aired on Paramount following prelims on MMAjunkie.
