A pivotal heavyweight rematch goes down at Bellator 225, and it appears to have title implications. Matt Mitrione (13-6-1 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) will rematch Sergei Kharitonov (28-6-2 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) in the main event of Saturday’s card, which takes place at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. The two previously fought at Bellator 215 in February, when in the first 15 seconds of the fight, Mitrione accidentally struck Kharitonov with a low blow , and the Russian was rendered unable to continue. The bout was ruled a no-contest.
