In the main event, Gegard Mousasi avenged a 2014 UFC loss to Lyoto Machida with a split-decision win in what Mousasi admitted wasn’t the most action-packed fight. And in the co-main event, dual champion Patricio Freire successfully defended his featherweight title and moved on in the promotion’s grand prix with a sound unanimous decision win over Juan Archuleta .
