HONOLULU – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s early and official Bellator 236 fighter weigh-ins, where the fighters on the main card all hit their marks for Saturday’s event. Women’s flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (10-0 MMA, 9-0 BMMA) fights in front of her home fans against challenger Kate Jackson (11-3-1 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) in the main event. Macfarlane was first to the scale in the two-hour window and was under the championship limit at 124.8 pounds. Jackson came in slightly lighter at 124.4 to make the fight official.
