Bellator’s final event of the month took place Friday with Bellator 257 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The opening round of the promotion’s light heavyweight grand prix continued to unfold on the card. In the main event, Vadim Nemkov (13-2 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) beat Phil Davis (22-6 MMA, 9-3 BMMA) by unanimous decision in their rematch to defend his 205-pound title and advance to the semifinals.
