UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Johnny Eblen didn’t just win the title Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena – he dominated in order to win it. In the Bellator 282 main event, Eblen (12-0 MMA, 8-0 BMMA) defeated Gegard Mousasi (49-8-2 MMA, 7-2 BMMA) via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) to earn the Bellator middleweight title in his first championship opportunity. The opening round started out slow, but quickly burst into pandemonium when Eblen rocked Mousasi with a near-fight-ending right forearm to the nose.
