SAN JOSE, Calif. – All the pre-fight activities are in the books for Bellator 292 , the third Bellator event of 2023, following Thursday’s official and ceremonial weigh-ins. The start of the promotion’s lightweight grand prix headlines the card, which airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie. In the main event, reigning Usman Nurmagomedov (16-0 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) takes on Benson Henderson (30-11 MMA, 7-6 BMMA) while the co-main event sees Tofiq Musayev (19-4 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) take on Alexander Shabliy (22-3 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) in another quarterfinal contest.
