Through more than 250 events over nearly 12 years, we’ve seen some slick submissions under the Bellator banner. Now the promotion has compiled some of the craziest tapouts – and no-chance-to-tapout moments – in its history in a new video. “We’ve delved into the deep & dark corners of Bellator MMA’s fight library to bring you these submission gems, and we were left speechless,” the promotion posted on its YouTube channel with the video. “All we can say is … Gracie would be proud!” The submission footage Bellator has put together includes recent masterpieces like A.J. McKee’s “McKee-otine,” but also includes some vintage work like when Toby Imada choked out recent UFC title challenger and “BMF” titleholder Jorge Masvidal with an inverted triangle all the way back at Bellator 5 in 2009.
