PFL 2018 heavyweight champion Philipe Lins will be in search of his first octagon win when he faces a gritty veteran. Lins (14-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) is expected to take on Ben Rothwell (38-13 MMA, 8-7 UFC) at a UFC Fight Night event on March 13, which does not currently have a confirmed venue or host city. A person with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous, as the promotion has not yet made an official announcement. Combate  was first to report the news. Lins, 35, has dropped his first two UFC bouts, to former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and, most recently, Tanner Boser in June. Prior to that, the Brazilian went 4-0 under the PFL banner, winning the 2018 heavyweight championship with a fourth-round stoppage of Josh Copeland.
