Bi Nguyen isn’t looking to prove anything to anyone, other than getting her hand raised. At “ONE Championship: Battleground III,” which airs Friday via tape delay, Nguyen (6-6) takes on Jenelyn Olsim (4-2) in a strawweight bout as she looks to make it back-to-back wins in 2021. Nguyen is coming off a split-decision win over Ritu Phogat at “ONE Championship: Dangal” in May, a matchup that “insulted” her when it was booked. “I’ve been doing this for a long time,” Nguyen stated during a virtual media day session. “I have a ‘good ego,’ I don’t have a ‘bad ego,’ which means I’m not in here to prove anything to anyone. … There’s things in my career I need to do.
