Rovval (15-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will serve at the backup fighter for the July 8 title fight between champion Brandon Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-3-2 UFC) and challenger Alexandre Pantoja (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) at UFC 290 in Las Vegas.
