After having a banner year in 2014, Bellator featherweight Bubba Jenkins is ready to take things to an even higher level in 2015. “I’ve racked up four straight wins (overall) and I went undefeated (in three fights last year),” Jenkins told MMAWeekly.com. “I felt like I was definitely going after something and trying to achieve a better goal for myself to become a better fighter and I feel like I achieved that.” Jenkins is particularly pleased with further developing his stand-up to add to his solid ground skills. “I’ve improved in my striking and I think that I’ve shown in every fight that,” he said. “In my last fight (against Thiago Meller at Bellator 126) I threw a lot more punches. I think my development of becoming a more complete fighter has really shown and I’m very happy about that.
