Cain Velasquez will remain behind bars. At a hearing Monday, Velasquez, represented by defense attorney Mark Geragos, appeared inside a courtroom at the Santa Clara County Hall of Justice where a request for bail was denied by Judge Shelyna Brown in the attempted murder case against the former UFC heavyweight champion. Both parties were granted time to make additional arguments, in addition to the statements in previously filed paperwork
