Kenny Foster and Calvin Kattar Calvin Kattar returns to the cage tonight after a nearly three-year layoff. His break from competition was by choice, he said, since he’s no longer just a fighter: He’s also a promoter. Despite winning 11 of his past 12 bouts, Kattar (14-2) hasn’t fought since June 2013. He gets back to work tonight, however, when he faces Kenny Foster (11-10) in the co-main event of CES MMA 34 at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. The main card airs on AXS TV. Kattar’s absence from the competitive side of the sport was self-imposed, he said.
