Sunday was certainly not Cezar Ferreira ’s night. After suffering a unanimous decision loss to Elias Theodorou (13-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 105, Ferreira (11-6 MMA, 7-4 UFC) revealed a bad hand injury that, according to him, he sustained in the very first punch he landed on “The Spartan” (via Instagram ): “First punch I connected in I broke my hand,” Ferreira wrote. “Thanks to all who cheered for me. This will not make me stop I’ll come back stronger soon God bless you all.” The middleweight bout was part of the main card of Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 105 event at Scotiabank Centre. It aired on FS1 following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
