Andre Fili and Charles Jourdain had a nice scrap at UFC on ESPN 10, and after three rounds it was clear who won: It was Fili. And that turned out to be the case, but … by split decision ? That was the result Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, despite Fili clearly controlling Rounds 2 and 3 with his takedowns (not to mention landing more significant strikes in each round). Fili earned two scores of 29-28, while Jourdain was awarded a 29-28 by one judge. The 29-28 score favoring Jourdain was announced first by octagon announcer Joe Martinez, and even Jourdain’s reaction was one of shock
