A featherweight matchup between Felipe Colares and Chase Hooper is the first reported booking for UFC Fight Night on May 21. Although the promotion has not officially announced the event, it is expected to host a card that will see Hooper (10-2-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Colares (10-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) share the octagon. Hooper verified the matchup on social media following an initial report from Brazilian news outlet Combate (via Twitter ): Well, that got announced quick haha (Looking forward to finally getting back to work ) https://t.co/eNsGn5yspX — Chase Hooper (@chase_hooper) January 30, 2022 Hooper, 22, is among the youngest active fighters on the UFC roster. He’s experienced some growing pains as of late, though, and lost two of his past three fights after starting his career on a 10-fight unbeaten streak. Colares, 27, will attempt to make Hooper’s tough times continue while getting back on track himself.
