Chico Camus Sure, Chico Camus is probably making a bit of a leap when it comes to the comparison, but in his mind, Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 57 win was pretty special. After a failed drug test due to marijuana, a brief falling-out with his camp , and some mixed results at bantamweight, the 29-year-old looked for a fresh start at flyweight. In a FOX Sports 1-televised bout at Austin, Texas’ Frank Erwin Center, Camus (14-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) used a high-energy game plan to earn a split-decision win over Brad Pickett (24-10 MMA, 4-5 UFC) in a back-and-forth fight. Pickett, who was ranked No. 8 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA flyweight rankings heading into the fight, was a near 2-1 favorite.
