Claudio Silva quietly has put together a solid winning streak in the UFC’s stacked welterweight division, and thinks it’s about time people started mentioning his name. Silva (14-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has won all five of his UFC fights, and since coming back from his nearly four-year layoff in 2018 has submitted three straight opponents. Silva thinks he’s earned the right to face a ranked fighter next, but is not willing to trash talk to get attention. He says it’s the UFC’s job to promote fighters like him who are flying under the radar.
