Zahabi on Tuesday conferred with MacDonald (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) and said the Canadian welterweight would have fought Lombard (35-4-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC), regardless of Lombard’s positive steroid test stemming from UFC 182, which forced the cancellation of their bout scheduled for April 25’s UFC 186 in Montreal.
