The Visalia, Calif., MMA fighter is 1-1 in his UFC career and said he expected UFC matchmakers to give him an opponent with one or two fights in the organization. The name he was given via text message made him look twice to make sure he read it right. “I definitely didn’t hesitate to take the fight,” Gibson said.
