Conor McGregor has been in multiple fight talks since his return was announced earlier this year. Having not competed inside the octagon since his horrific leg break over two years ago, his potential return is beginning to heat up. All signs pointed toward Michael Chandler to be his return opponent but with each passing day, that bout looks more and more unlikely. The pair shared the screen during the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter and were confirmed to be fighting one another once the show comes to an end, but that hasn’t materialized. With doubts surrounding McGregor’s next opponent , Dustin Poirier has thrown his name into the hat and both men seem open to the possibility of colliding for the fourth time at the forthcoming UFC 300 event .
