LAS VEGAS – The scene following the weigh-ins for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight turned into bedlam Friday at T-Mobile Arena when hundreds of McGregor supporters staged an impromptu rally. Gathering near the exits, the fans broke into deafening and joyous chants, including the standard “ole, ole, ole, ole.’’ Others waved Irish flags with messages that, alluding to McGregor’s comments during the build-up to the fight Saturday, included: “Mayweather Can’t Read This,’’ “F*ck the Mayweathers,’’ and “I am Boxing.’’ Some fighters block out the noise, but McGregor swallows it up and uses it to fuel him.
