LAS VEGAS – After swallowing “a bitter pill” at welterweight against Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor plans to return to the featherweight division where he holds the UFC title. Who McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) fights next will be decided by the fans, he said at UFC 196’s post-event press conference after he was submitted by Diaz (19-10 MMA, 14-8 UFC) at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. “It’s hard not to give (Jose) Aldo another go,” McGregor, who suffered his first UFC loss in eight octagon appearances, mused.
