Filed under: Featured , News , UFC , Videos Frankie Edgar wants and deserves, in the opinion of most, a UFC featherweight title shot. Unfortunately, he’s at the mercy of champion Conor McGregor . McGregor (19-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC) is well aware that Edgar (20-4-1 MMA, 14-4-1 UFC) is the most worthwhile challenger to his 145-pound belt. However, with a lightweight title fight against Rafael dos Anjos (25-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) scheduled for UFC 197 on March 5, “The Notorious” has different priorities. That means “The Answer” has to wait until McGregor is ready to move back down before he can get his title shot
