Hendricks was forced to fight Khalil Rountree, his training partner outside the show at Las Vegas’ Syndicate gym, and came into the bout with a foot injury that forced him to change stances. “I wasn’t going to be able to kick with it, because if I landed with my foot, I probably would end up crying on the ground,” Hendricks told MMAjunkie.
