Alex Pereira is taking his talent up a division, and this has left many wondering whether it will ultimately pay off for his fighting career. Pereira (7-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) lost his UFC middleweight title this past April in a rematch against Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 287 in Miami.
