Dan Hardy hopes his time with the UFC hasn’t concluded for good. A longtime color commentator, Hardy was recently relieved of his duties after getting into a disagreement with one of the company’s employees during his time on “Fight Island” in January. He also was involved in an incident with referee Herb Dean in July, which Hardy thinks also played a factor in his release. But Hardy’s departure from the UFC has left a bitter taste in his mouth. The former welterweight title challenger, who has since apologized for the Abu Dhabi incident , thinks there’s a been misconception of what really happened and hopes UFC president Dana White hasn’t been given the wrong impression of him
