It didn’t take long for Dan Hooker ’s face to go back to normal after looking like he was in a car crash just one week ago. Hooker (20-9 MMA, 9-5 UFC) was involved in a wreck of sorts, but one that just so happened to take place in the octagon when he put on a five-round thriller with Dustin Poirier in the UFC on ESPN 12 main event. Poirier (26-6 MMA, 18-6 UFC) won a unanimous decision in the blood and guts affair, which is sure to hold up among the top finalists in the “Fight of the Year” category.
