Dana White answers why Conor McGregor hasn’t fought

Former two-division UFC champion  Conor McGregor last fought in July 2021 losing to  Dustin Poirier in a trilogy bout at UFC 264.  In the loss, McGregor suffered a broken leg.   The Irishman coached The Ultimate Fighter 31 last summer opposite lightweight contender  Michael Chandler .  The two are expected to fight in McGregor’s eventual return.   Why hasn’t McGregor fought yet?  UFC CEO  Dana White answered that question during the UFC 298  Post-Fight Press Conference .
