UFC president Dana White thinks the rematch between Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes is going to set records for the promotion. After Peña (11-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) pulled off a historic upset of Nunes (21-5 MMA, 14-2 UFC) to win the women’s bantamweight title at UFC 269 this month, an immediate rematch appears inevitable. Both fighters have said it’s their desire to run it back, it’s just a matter of when and where it will happen. White is keen on making the fight happen, too, and is confident it’s going to grab the attention of the combat sports world.
