LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Monday’s official Dana White’s Contender Series 40 fighter weigh-ins, where one fighter did miss weight but will still compete. Dana White’s Contender Series cards see prospects fighting for the opportunity to sign a UFC deal, with UFC president Dana White on hand to make the decisions. In the featured bout, a pair of undefeated middleweights clash, with Jordan’s Hashem Arkhagha (6-0) taking on Ohio’s AJ Dobson (5-0). Arkhagha came in heavy at 189 pounds for the clash, but he will compete as scheduled, forfeiting 20 percent of his purse to his opponent.
