When Stipe Miocic teammate Mo Miller pulled off a nasty slam knockout at LFA 96 in December, he caught the attention of not only thousands of fans – but also the UFC. The UFC has booked Miller (5-0) against fellow top prospect Brandon Lewis (5-0) for a bantamweight bout Sept. 14 on Dana White’s Contender Series at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
