One bout’s recent cancellation has opened the door for a new televised fight at this month’s UFC on FOX 10 event. UFC officials on Wednesday announced that Russian newcomer Oleksiy Oliynyk (2-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has suffered an injury and been forced out of a heavyweight bout with Jared Rosholt (9-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC). As a result, lightweights Daron Cruickshank (13-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Mike Rio (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) have been promoted from the UFC Fight Pass online preliminary card to the televised prelims on FOX Sports 1.
