The next major Bellator event is shaping up to be a good one with the additional of several new fights, including a welterweight bout between longtime promotional veterans David Rickels and Brennan Ward . MMAjunkie today verified the matchup between Rickels (18-4 MMA, 12-4 BMMA) and Ward (14-6 MMA, 9-6 BMMA) with a Bellator official. Bellator 185 takes place Oct. 20 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The event airs on Spike following early prelims streamed on MMAjunkie. David Rickels Rickels will set a new Bellator record most appearances in the promotion’s history when he steps in the cage for the 19th time
