When the Nevada State Athletic Commission decided to test UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones out-of-competition, it wasn’t solely for cocaine, the drug that’s now ensnared him in controversy and sent him to rehab . Instead, according to a document obtained by MMAjunkie on Tuesday, the NSAC ordered a panel of tests, which included both performance enhancers and drugs of abuse such as marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and other street drugs. Jones came up negative for PEDs (although Jones’ T/E ratio was abnormally low) but produced a positive for the street drug cocaine. The NSAC called the decision to test Jones for drugs of abuse “ an administrative oversight ,” according to MMAFighting.com, and then reps gave conflicting answers as to what happened next
