Many were surprised when the UFC announced Derrick Lewis vs. Shamil Abdurakhimov as the heavyweight main event of UFC Fight Night 102, which streams on UFC Fight Pass on Dec. 9 at Time Union Center in Albany, New York. Lewis (16-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) was among the group taken off guard, apparently, but not because he was in the headlining position.
