Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos HOUSTON – Following his UFC 192 victory, Yair Rodriguez could barely stand on a quickly swelling right foot. However, a post-bout examination brought some encouraging news for the young prospect. Soon after Rodriguez (6-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) scored a thoroughly dominant unanimous-decision victory over fellow featherweight Daniel Hooker (12-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC), the 22-year-old Mexican fighter suggested his foot might be broken. In fact, in his interview with commentator Joe Rogan after the bout, which aired on FOX Sports 1 from Houston’s Toyota Center, Rodriguez stood uncomfortably as his foot continued to balloon up. However, the fighter, who won “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” this past year, got some encouraging news afterward.
