Do not include Diego Sanchez ’s name if you want to talk about fighters facing fear. Darren Till openly and honestly said that he was scared prior to his UFC 244 matchup with Kelvin Gastelum, and that he even considered faking an injury to avoid stepping in the cage. The former welterweight title challenger also went on to say that all fighters experience these pre-fight nerves but they just won’t admit it, and that didn’t sit well with “The Nightmare” Sanchez. The longtime veteran left a comment on ESPN reporter Ariel Helwani’s Instagram post, in the clip he shared of his interview with Till. “Every fighter?! this be some number one (expletive)!!!! Maybe he is coming from some money or something! All the work! decades! to finally get some real money! Fake a injury I’m sorry Ariel but don’t butter till up like this is cool to get a good interview! @platinummikeperry what you think p***y (expletive) or p***y (expletive)? Match him up with @yoelromeromma and he really is gonna fake a injury!! Sorry guy I just can’t relate to this weak ass (expletive)  ” Sanchez who’s currently a free agent, has been part of some of the biggest barnburners in the history of the sport.
