We recently spoke to some fellow fighters to see if the two-division UFC champion really deserves it. Earlier this month in UFC 205’s pay-per-view headliner, featherweight champ McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) dethroned lightweight titleholder Eddie Alvarez (28-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) to become the first fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold two UFC belts. The event, which marked the UFC’s long awaited New York City debut, did big business – breaking numerous company records – in large part due to McGregor, who’s been the sport’s biggest draw in 2016
