Cerrone (29-7 MMA, 16-4 UFC) jumped to the 170-pound division after a disappointing and quick defeat at the hands of Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17. He returned to form in the bout with Oliveira, breaking out the triangle choke that was once his bread and butter to finish the fight at the 2:33 mark of Round 1. Now holding an honorable mention spot in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA pound for pound rankings, Cerrone is taking advantage of the recent talk surrounding Georges St-Pierre (25-2 MMA, 19-2 UFC)
