It was Mexican Independance Day when Jose Alday found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then 20, the Combate bantamweight champion was a community college student thinking about becoming a veterinarian. He was out celebrating his birthday with friends, drinking alcohol, when police officers approached.
