Maybe that’s just something that happens when you grow up around a bunch of professional kickboxers. Fighting for a living? That, as the founder and head coach of the Roufusport gym in Milwaukee can tell you, is “a tough thing to do as a family sometimes.” “And honestly,” Roufus told MMAjunkie, “you let pride get in the way of love.” Or at least, he did until recently, until he learned from the example of two of his fighters, Sergio and Anthony Pettis . Most of the time he’s their mentor, the coach who teaches and guides them. When it comes to family, however, sometimes they’re the ones who teach him the lessons.
